bonnie + evan maternity shoot

One the best things about this job is being able to do photo shoots with old friends. We've known Bonnie and Evan since my husband worked with Evan back at THQ. Soon after, we met Bonnie and I remember all of us doing Irish car bombs at the Sagebrush the night we met! I know, classy, right? Fast forward to Bonnie and Evan getting married and my daughter as one of her flower girls. Awesome day.   Now lightspeed to today and Bonnie is just days away from having a baby boy. I couldn't have missed this shoot for the world as I absolutely adore them! Bonnie, you were a trooper that day. I know that the horseflies and 90 degree summer heat did not help! Needless to say you are glowing in every picture and I love how they all turned out. Here are my top faves. Thanks again for including us in yet another milestone of your lives. We look forward to meeting baby Jack and for his upcoming close up. ;)   

The Ochsner Family at El Matador State Beach

It was a year ago that I met Kris, Lance and baby Avery. She was 6 months old at the time and today, at 18 months, she is on the move with world as her oyster. Avery loved the water so much you could barely hold her back! It was such a fun afternoon at El Matador. The sun, the high tide and the classic look you guys brought with you were priceless. It was that time of year again to take the family photos of my long time friends, Shannon, JD and Quinn. We spent the day in Old Town Pasadena getting lost between the brick alley ways and rustic buildings. You guys are always so much fun to be around. It's been wonderful seeing our girls grow up together at the same school! The three of you are a ray of sunshine and we are so blessed to have you as friends. Myla's 1st Birthday Celebration

I was asked by one of the teacher's at Beckford Elementary if I could photograph her youngest daughter, Myla's 1st birthday. It was a traditional Korean first birthday, or Dol, celebration to include the Doljabi and the head table displaying the colorful rice cakes and seasonal fruit. Family and friends gathered together to give Myla their best wishes, eat great food, and snack on some very sweet treats! Best of all we had a chance to see Myla in her beautiful Korean hanbok. She was absolutely beautiful.
