Myla's 1st Birthday Celebration

I was asked by one of the teacher's at Beckford Elementary if I could photograph her youngest daughter, Myla's 1st birthday. It was a traditional Korean first birthday, or Dol, celebration to include the Doljabi and the head table displaying the colorful rice cakes and seasonal fruit. Family and friends gathered together to give Myla their best wishes, eat great food, and snack on some very sweet treats! Best of all we had a chance to see Myla in her beautiful Korean hanbok. She was absolutely beautiful.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Shively Family, Kim, Ryan, their beautiful 8 month old, Palmer, and Nana Kaye. Thank you for spending the morning with us. We had so much fun making Palmer laugh and smile. He's a natural. We loved all the songs you and your mom sang. Fantastic. I won't forget Palmer's electric blue eyes. You simply can't escape from them. He is absolutely beautiful.

Baby Avery ~ Los Angeles Baby Photography

I had the great pleasure of meeting such a wonderful family last week, Kris, Lance and 6 month old Baby Avery. I won't forget Avery's mesmerizing eyes! Little Big Guy.

 Just six months ago, August was born and I was lucky enough to take his first pictures. With is dark hair and blue eyes, he is growing up to be one handsome little fella. Watch out Clark Kent! Susie, Jason, and 2 1/2 year old Ethan. One of the sweetest families you will ever meet. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to photograph your beautiful family. I love your photos. I had so much fun that day and I know that Noah had a great time running around with Ethan between shots. He is the sweetest and most gentle little guy. You've done good! Julia

Julia. A Chocolate Labrador. The most obedient dog I've ever met. Vivacious and full of love. My first official doggy photo shoot too :) I had such a good time with Julia and her owner, my good friend, Elisa. Taken at the Shalom Institute in Malibu, it had just rained the night before and we were worried we might have needed to cancel. But luck was on our side and the sun broke out the morning of creating the most beautiful weather for us. Everything was lush and vibrant with color. We had fun hiking around a bit in the mud. I think I'm hooked, photographing dogs that is. So if there is anyone out there that would love to have their pets photographed, sign me up.
